This Privacy Policy describes how Hills Labs (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our apps (PepsAI, Zumi, Ascend, sobr, and any others we publish), our website, and our creator program (collectively, the “Services”).

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Account info: name, email, and (if you apply to the creator program) social handles, sample post URLs, and audience details.
• App content: entries you log in our apps, like habits, food, peptide doses, journal entries, or other personal data you choose to record.
• Communications: emails, support requests, and form submissions.

Information we collect automatically

• Usage data: screens visited, features used, crashes, and rough device info (model, OS version).
• Identifiers: a device or app-instance identifier so we can deliver core functionality.
• Approximate location: only if you grant location access for an app feature that needs it. We don’t track precise location.

How we use it

• To run the apps and the creator program.
• To improve the product — fixing bugs, prioritizing features, understanding what works.
• To communicate with you (replies, updates, occasional product announcements you can opt out of).
• To process payouts for creators.
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or anything that puts users at risk.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We don’t share health data, journal content, or other sensitive personal entries with advertisers.
• We don’t run third-party ads inside our apps.

Sharing

We only share information with:

• Service providers who help us run the apps (hosting, analytics, email, payment processors). They’re bound by confidentiality.
• Authorities when legally required (court order, lawful request).
• Buyers if Hills Labs is ever acquired or merged. We’ll notify you first if that happens.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct or delete it.
• Export it in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential processing.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data and notify you in the event of a breach as required by law.

Children

Our Services aren’t directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in some jurisdictions). We don’t knowingly collect data from children. If we find out we have, we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
